今天看到一則很有趣的文章，作者是Emily Hambidge，而她的男友Justin Williams是一名專門寫麥金塔程式的設計師，經過七、八年的相處之後，Emily寫下了10條守則，教導各位女生遇到另外一半是一位程式設計師的時候，該如何與另外一半相處的辦法。

內容描述的真是太傳神了，不由得發現自己也是這樣，特別是第八條，哈哈，我現在也是用雙螢幕，而且，我也覺得越多越好～～ :D

搬家

不知不覺地又經過一個學年的結束，好像前幾週才剛搬進現在的房間，怎麼今天又忙著搬出去？ 幸好，新搬進去的房間就在對面，還以為需要兩天才可以把東西都整理完搬過去，沒想到才一天就把所有的東西塞進新的房間。趁此機會，把房間裡不必要的東西都給扔掉，順便把新房間重新布置。

搬完之後，照例要把原來居住的房間打掃一下，一邊打掃、一邊回想這一年內發生的事情，原本熟悉的同學都畢業了、搬進一人套房、熬夜趕程式、投paper、去泰國、搶時間念資格考、買iPod、......才發現一年內真的發生不少事情。

今後一樣會有這麼多事情發生吧！趕緊把房間打掃乾淨，心情也打掃乾淨，準備迎接緊接下來的一切.... :D

PS: 大概昨天太操勞～今天全身酸痛...

[Movie] Be Cool

Be Cool是由John Trivolta和Uma Thurman所主演的，算是Get Shorty的續集，主角John Trivolta在Get Shorty中從黑道跨足到Hollywood製片家，在Be Cool中因為製片家生活很無趣，原本要回到黑道，卻在意外之下跨到唱片界，雖然承襲之前Get Shorty的風格，主角把一切過程可能會發生的情況都掌握在手中，不失幽默風趣的風格，但是，個人覺得劇情上更加複雜，人物的複雜度太大，基本上觀眾會覺得變化太大，不如之前Get Shorty的容易理解。

不過，最讓人值得一看Be Cool的地方在於John Trivolta和Uma Thurman的共舞，如果有人看過由Quentin Tarantino所執導的Pulp Fiction(1994)，裡面就有John Trivolta和Uma Thurman一起跳舞的經典畫面，真是太精彩不過！這次，在Be Cool中又再次重現，哈哈，可以再次享受其中的氣氛。

Pass the Ph.D. Qualify Exam

Oh!Ya! .... 我終於熬過博士班資格考了，結束為期兩年的苦戰，除了第一次缺考外，每一學期過一科，雖然都是低空飛過，但還算順利，加上前些日子投出去的一篇期刊論文有消息回覆，不需要再繼續默默地等待，看來，這學期雖然辛苦，還稍微有點收穫。

希望之後也可以這樣順利，加油加油！！

博士學位口試

前天2005/6/14是我直屬學長辛苦耕耘六年後最重要的日子，也就是博士學位口試保衛戰，我在旁邊參與了整個過程，除了幫忙學長外，當然最重要的是有機會可以提早體會將來也會發生在我身上的事情(應該不會有意外吧.... ^^b)。說不緊張，我想都是騙人的，即使像學長已經念了六年，到處幫老闆四處開會、報告，以前也有碩士學位口試的經驗，但是，當面對十位教授在台下聽自己報告，不由得還是會亂了陣腳。當時，我坐在台下，一邊聆聽學長的報告以及諸位教授的發問，一邊試著想像著如果自己在台上的是我，我又該如何回應？慢慢地，學長的報告由於眾多的發問而被打亂了順序，而我也因越想越多，不由得都跟著緊張........最後，整個口試過程就在一陣混亂之中，不知不覺地結束了。

在口試完畢後的用餐中， 從某一位教授的口中聽到了下面的話:"口試緊不緊張，都是這樣，撐過就結束了，恭喜恭喜"，我想當任何人聽到那句話的時候，才真的體會到學位已經到手，以後就是真正的博士，不再只是準博士或是博士候選人～

[Movie] Million Dollar Baby

"Million Dollar Baby"的中文片名是"登峰造極"，是描述因為家庭問題的拳擊教練封閉自己的心靈，卻在遇到一位努力不懈的女拳擊手後，兩人之間逐漸碰出火花、互相激勵，一路朝向拳擊冠軍之路邁進，然而，卻是以悲劇收場。我覺得最震撼的地方在於最後女主角因為冠軍賽而癱瘓的地方，這個轉折真的很大，也許很多人會因為女拳擊手努力不懈的精神給打動，但是，我卻因為這樣而感到世事無常，即使一個人在怎麼努力，在怎麼有收穫，也敵不過所謂的命運。這樣的想法並不是我就此不再努力，但不免有點失望，畢竟，看起來所有的努力是白費的。

After the Qualify Exam

I go to school early today for the qualify exam, but it still rains cats and dogs. Even if I wear a raincoat and shorts, I still get wet after arriving the department. Anyway, I attend the qualify exam on time.

It is so lucky that three questions are shown in the past exam. I am not sure the answers which I prepared yesterday are perfect, but I think that there is one chance I can pass this exam. If I can really pass this qualify exam, in addition to the acceptance of journal papers and the credit point for one course, I can be closer to graduation. Therefore, I should still hold on and study harder.

Before the Qualify Exam

Tomorrow is the day of my third PH.D. qualify exam. However, there is an important tutorial today about my research topic. The speaker is Thierry Ernst who is the chair of the NEMO (NEtwork MObility) WG in IETF. In other words, I must take this opportunity to let him know what I'm researching. He plays an important role of NEMO. Maybe He will review my submitted journal paper. Unfortunately, I seem to lose my chance. Although I get some idea about NEMO from this tutorial, I can not think of any question about NEMO or this tutorial. Onz Maybe I need to study harder. I hope that I can behave better in the future.

Besides, today is a rainy day in Tainan. At noon, I just want to buy my lunch and go to school. Suddenly, it rains cats and dogs after buying my lunch. Thus, I have to wear my raincoat and ride my motorcycle to school as soon as possible. Although I wear a raincoat, I am still wet. Hurriedly, I forget my keys still in my motorcycle and walk to my department. Until dinner, I just find that my keys are lost and run to the car park. Oh.Ya~~ My keys and motorcycle are still here. Thank God. I have no money to buy a new motorcycle. I hope that I will remain lucky tomorrow.
